My Journey...

 

Hello my name is Sunrya Noelle and welcome to Sedona Soul Symmetry. It's been a journey to get to where I am today, but nothing happens by coincidence. I am now living the beautiful reality of what I never imagined would come true, embracing who I am and knowing my sacred footprint... as a Healer, Teacher and Creator. I am grateful to be able to share my gifts with my clients and help them along their journey of healing. My spiritual practice is designed to give you the ingredients to radiate from within- your desires, intention and soul purpose.

But before I got here I had mountains to climb, as we naturally do in this lifetime.I struggled for my identify, was in a car crash back in 2019 which started my spiritual awakening and opened me to a whole new universe of possibility, angel guides and following my intuition.After going through a painful divorce and separating from my old life, I surrendered. Which led me to Sedona AZ, where I am now living as my true authentic self. I'm a lightwkrker on a sacred mission to help those in need. My desire is to be of service and show that once you align with our true self, their in nothing that can stand in your way. The soul is a powerful and wonderful presence that shines within, but often we loose sight of ourselves in everyday life. Cancellation Policy:Cancellations made within 72 hours for Traditional, Premium and Concierge Reiki services will receive a full refund (100%), or may reschedule for a future session with that session already paid in full.NO refunds are given for cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled appointment.

Cancellation Example: You have a scheduled Reiki session for Monday at 8pm (EST), you cancel on Sunday (anytime) you will not receive a refund. Cancel on Saturday =50% refund. Cancel on Friday=100% refund or you may reschedule with the session already paid in full.

How to Prepare for Your Session:

​

1. Relax and Reflect.

Give yourself at least 30 minutes prior to the session to sit and reflect. Check in with how your body is feeling and take note of any emotions, thoughts, or physical sensations you are experiencing.

2. Have a Nutritious Meal & Hydrate

​

3. Wear comfortable clothing- Loose fitting is suggested. I usually tell my clients to either wear or bring socks since shoes are removed during the session and the feet can get cold. You’ll also want to use the restroom before the session. ​Your comfort is paramount, most clients will lie on their backs for the session, if at anytime you are uncomfortable, please let me know and I will adjust your position. I also supply a pillow for under the knees and head.

After Your Session:

After a session many people feel relaxed, peaceful and reenergized. The cells in our bodies are imprinted with lifetimes of experiences. Many times we have held on to negative, self sabotaging and karmic experiences that we may not even know we were still carrying until after we’ve experienced the loving touch of Reiki. 

If a healing reaction happens, it is a good idea to drink more water, eat light nutritious meals and get more rest. Ultimately, the healing process relies on the receiver. The forgiving of past hurts and letting go of repressed negativity, either at a conscious or unconscious level is necessary. Reiki healing sessions are always working automatically towards resolving these deeper problems. As the healing continues over the next week you can be on the look out for more synchronicity and soul aligning.

What is Reiki?

​

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique. The predominate form of reiki practiced throughout the world today, also known as Usui reiki, was created by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. It’s a complementary or alternative health approach. Reiki does not directly cure diseases or illnesses. Instead, it’s used as a way to manage symptoms and improve general well-being. 

During a reiki session, the practitioner places their hands either directly on you or just above you to bring about healing. The belief is that the practitioner is able to stimulate your body’s natural healing abilities.

According to a review of randomized trialsTrusted Source, reiki may help to reduce pain and anxiety, though more research is needed. It may also help to reduce fatigue. 

A 2015 studyTrusted Source found that people being treated for cancer who received distant reiki in addition to regular medical care had lower levels of pain, anxiety, and fatigue. These levels were significantly lower than the control group, who only received medical care. Participants had 30-minute sessions of distant reiki for five days.

In another 2015 study, researchers looked at the effects of reiki on women following cesarean delivery. They found that reiki significantly reduced pain, anxiety, and the breathing rate in women 1-2 days after having a cesarean delivery. The need for and number of analgesic pain killers was also reduced. Reiki didn’t have an effect on blood pressure or pulse rate.

A 2018 studyTrusted Source compared the use of reiki to physiotherapy for relieving lower back pain in people with herniated disks. Both treatments were found to be equally effective at relieving pain, but reiki was more cost-effective and, in some cases, resulted in faster treatment.

 Treats Depression

​

Reiki treatments may be used as part of a treatment plan to help relieve depression. In a small 2010 study, researchers looked at the effects of reiki on older adults experiencing pain, depression, or anxiety. The participants reported an improvement of their physical symptoms, mood, and well-being. They also reported more feelings of relaxation, increased curiosity, and enhanced levels of self-care. 

Larger, more in-depth studies are required to expand upon these findings. 

3. Enhances quality of life 

The positive benefits of reiki can enhance your overall well-being. Researchers in a small 2016 study found that reiki was helpful in improving the quality of life for women with cancer. Women who had reiki showed improvements to their sleep patterns, self-confidence, and depression levels. They noted a sense of calm, inner peace, and relaxation. 

Larger studies are needed to expand on these findings.

 Boosts mood 

​

Reiki may help to improve your mood by relieving anxiety and depression. According to results from a 2011 study, people who had reiki felt greater mood benefits compared to people who didn’t have reiki. The study participants who had six 30-minute sessions over a period of two to eight weeks showed improvements in their mood. 

5. May improve some symptoms and conditions

Reiki may also be used to treat:

• headache

• tension 

• insomnia 

• nausea

The relaxation response that happens with Reiki may benefit these symptoms. However, specific research is needed to determine the efficacy of reiki for the treatment of these symptoms and conditio
